Do I outsource?
Absolutely not! When you hire a company that outsources your project you are by default dealing with a middle man ('project manager') and will ALWAYS pay more than if your project was not outsourced. These types of firms will not know the intricate needs of your project quite simply because they are not the ones who build it. This is a standard subcontracting arrangement that results in natural inefficiency, higher costs, and low quality. With PlanetTucker Your project is built in-house and you will be talking with the one who is building it - no project manager or middle man.
Am I the cheapest?
No - India has developers that will work for less than $20/hr, and you may even find someone local (like a high school kid) that is cheaper. I'm not here to be the cheapest or compete with these types of substandard companies. A common tactic of offshore or outsourcing firms is to lure you by low hourly rates, then bloat how many hours it will take to get to the price they wanted all along. It is bottom feeder marketing. Just remember, you get what you pay for.
Keep in mind, I can probably do more in one (1) hour at $60/hr than others can do in five (5) at $20/hr. While others are happy to do everything you say just to rack up the hours, I'm not a "yes man" and will offer recommendations and suggestions along the way. Your site goes in my portfolio and I want to be proud of it the same as you.
Are these fees negotiable?
No - Whether building you an online presence or providing phone time for consultation, I'm very fast and efficient at what I do and will do a good job. I have too many testimonials, portfolio examples, and references to justify and stick by my rates.
Are there refunds?
No - However that doesn't mean I'm here to simply take your money and run up time. If for any reason I have failed you in my services then you DO NOT GET A BILL. Otherwise you pay when you are happy - just as it should be :)
Will you price per job?
Certainly, but his is a case-by-case basis.
